A good way to get dedicated twitter fans?

Well im trying to get some more twitter fans for @smstopaypal and im wondering some people on here have thousnds of twitter fans so any tips how to get them?

Just don't do what I did and follow loads of people.... you get your feed clogged full of ****.. I ended up removing about 500 people. Lol

This is the best way.
You could also try and get some other people to promote your twitter.
A great way that I've seen used is to run a competition where you ask people to follow your twitter and tweet something about your site, then pick one of the people randomly and give them a prize :)
