My friend kept bugging me to get the orange box before, got it on sale for £11 off steam.

Also, we both wanted to get GTA IV. It was £20 on steam, £10 on amazon, so we were gonna order it offer amazon but suddenly today it got reduced on steam to £5!

Yeah I got GTA IV on the Xmas Steam Sale. Bought a few so far in this summer one as well.

Your PC is probably not good enough, check your PC meets the minimum requirements.

Have you tried all the usual defrag and verify game cache?

it's recently been reformatted and all that, all updated from r*, tried many various settings etc...

it's frutstrating. i also have eflc sitting infront of me that i can't use.

Works for me, and I have a considerably worse PC than yours.
