heheh what a title, any way onto the idea

basically there are a lot of new people on this forum and tbh admit we dont kno anything about them, thats y i ask we introduce the " Eye Of Oli" where a forum member is picked at random and fills out a simple form, e.g

Habbo Name
Age
Intrest's
Time with the forum
Acheivments and awards on habbox

so on.....

and then this is displayed for 3 days at the top of the forum where the announcments are, that way more forum members get recognised and tbh wouldnt u feel good if you saw something that makes u look good on show to like a thousand members?

I think we could do something like this, like highlight certain members each week in a certain section or something, lets see what ideas develop from this thread :)

Yeah, this does seem interesting, and would give more limelight to less 'obvious' members.

No, this will just make the forum look longer which management have been against.
Also many new people will not really have "Achievements and awards on habbox"

So one of over 45000 members is picked at random to fill in a survey, we have to hope that they're actually online at some point to do it, and then it gets plastered at the top of the forum so we can all see what .::.:BL4STO!SE:.::. likes doing in his spare time?

It takes new users a bit of time but they eventually get to know people. I really think this isn't needed. They can simply see the details on peoples profile. It can also lead to bullying and piss taking.

Yeah i think thats a better idea calv. I mean we already have that thing at the bottom of the forum that states our newest registered member. Maybe we could just have like a rotating thing that shows the most recent registered users or something.

Although i don't think it is needed as we have the welcome forum already. Maybe we should have something that automatically directs new member to posting a thread in the welcome forum? I think it we started to plaster the names of people who have just register and personal details like age etc on the front page of HxF could scare some of the shy members. I mean when i first joined HxF i would have felt really uncomfortable seeing my name all over the page and loads of people PMing me or something.

So maybe just something that points them in the right direction to posting in the welcome forum would be adiquate.

Maybe something like they have on Habbo with the random Habbo's standing next to each other linking to their homes? (but for Habbox linking to their user profiles)?

It's be nice if that they have to enter their Habbo name and then when it says 'Say hello to our newest member Skizzling!' it would show like a picture of their Habbo waving by using links from a Habbo Imager taken from their Habbo name. I dunno if there is any point adding any info.

Maybe we should make it like forced that everyone who join Habbox Forum MUST most a welcome thread. And then when you click the image of the new member under the bit that say 'Say hello to our newest member....' it would link to their welcome thread and you can say hi to them. Or it could just link to sending a PM to them to introduce yourself to them.

Mabey you should have it so alist of the MOTM's are at the top? This would get them more noticed (i never know who MOTM is without looking though the threads) and would not take up any space.
