I'm looking for a co-owner for this site, preferably with coding knowledge..

First of all, i would like to say, no, this is not what u probably think it is. :P

What is scammersblackmarket sole purpose? We will be storing information of scammers, mostly from the white hat scene and so on. We hope this will be useful for many people who trade both virtual and real life items.

How will we get this information? We will look at scam reports on forums and the details on these scammers will be stored online for others to see.

What kind of information on scammers will be stored? IP address(s), email accounts, names, and home address's.

This is a ambitious thing to do, i don't think anything like this has ever been done before on such a scale, but i think it can be done..

The site is awaiting verification from 1&1 and will be available for use shortly. I do not have hosting atm, but this shouldn't be a problem. If u can provide basic hosting, great.

If your interested in this please contact me via the thread/pm or msn - [email protected]

Thanks

Storing scammers personal information? Sounds like a lawsuit waiting to happen...

Nah no lawsuit will come but their dns owners will just terminate the domain pretty much

In a text form, or perhaps in a download form. Most likely a download form due to the size.. yet to be decided yet. It could turn out to be a success really...

And Pink Panther.. haven't u heard of the 'Freedom Of Information Act'? OJ :P erm ye, i guess i will have to consult someone professionally first before doing anything.

Ross - I don't think it would need to come to termination.. and i guess they wouldn't just 'pull the plug' without consulting me about it first..

Trust me they will, they did the day i baught smstopaypal.com domain as they thought it may be a scam site, straight away.
If you hosted it the information from another site then RSS feed'd it in or even iframe'd it in for better quality, then they couln't :)

It's illegal to hold information that you do not own. If I sign up to a website and agree to their ToS with my Email then they are free to use it because I have granted them access otherwise it may not be used by them in any way. I can't imagine a scammer willingly putting his or her personal information on a scam busting site can you?

I have but you clearly haven't. The freedom of information act was legislation passed to make government transparent by forcibly publishing public sector information upon request, it has nothing to do with personal information or the private sector.

I was joking Pink Panther..

And Ross, as in offshore hosting? I'm guessing this is what more forums/websites do when they be violating a condition right?
