Paris Hilton was arrested at a World Cup match in South Africa after she was allegedly caught smoking marijuana, it was claimed tonight.
According to reports the socialite was escorted by police from the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium in Port Elizabeth just before 8pm tonight and taken to a nearby police station.

She had been watching Brazil get knocked out of the tournament by The Netherlands

In case anyone's interested, the charges were dropped after a 3 minute trial. Her friend who actually did have the drugs was allegedly made to pay a fine or spend 30 days in jail, so guessing it was just paid off
