How did you find Habbo

I have been playing since i was in year 7 (5 years ago LOL) and i got introduced to it by my friends at school who had account but just went on as noobs but i carried it on way after they all stopped and then just stumbled across the hxhd and this place like 3 years ago. Wow i'm lame haha.. So what about you?

My sister introduced me to it when i was 12 (5 years ago) and i played it for a little while and i had nothing other than a few plasto chairs and bits that my sister had got from giveaways (she didn't have much either, not even a full room) Then i noticed some of my friends talking about it at school so i told them my Habbo name and we all like got together for about a year on Habbo. One of my mates was on contract (her phone) and her parents paid the bill and didn't care tbh, so she kept buying us all credits. And back in the day having like 100 credits was like rich (for noobs) as you couldn't trade credits. I just bought loads of like iced stuff and that at first, and my first rare a Blue Bear Rug. Then after having like loads of credits and the deal for double hc weekend came up (got double the amount of HC) so i bought like a year of HC and got 2 years :). Make then the HC gifts were actually valuable, everything was worth like 1HC+, so i kept selling them for HC's. Then when i had 8 HC i opened a HC casino only got get quick traded 8HC for a red plasto chair (i thought it was a throne) but i had just got my majestic chair gift and bought 3 petals from the catalouge (they had been re-released) i left like leaving after being scammed, but this is what brought me into trading and thus habbox. I closed my casino and opened a rare shop, selling everything i owned for HC's and stuff. It then came the time when my friends left, i was utterly bored but they had given me all their furni. So i was sat their, bored but richer than i had ever been so i continued to trade and i joined Habbox Forum (this account is a new account btw) i traded alot in my shop and did some RV reports. Then i had enough for a throne (they were like 30HC back in the day). Then like a few years passed of doing nothing and one of my mats came back to Habbo and i had left but she told me about it at school and i came back. This is when i got serious at Habbox, reporting rare values etc. Then in like february 08 i got a RV trial, passed it and then i worked in the RV department until about july/august and i got promoted to RV Manager! I then quit everything in December 08, cut all ties with the people from Habbox and Habbo. I didn't return until April of this year.

So there you go, my very lengthy story of my 5 year Habbo life (although i left alot so it's probs 2 years :P)

My friend kept going on about it in science and as our science teacher was boring, I decided to listen to my friend instead so I ended up joining Habbo. They've all left now, I'd have left ages ago as well but then I found Habbox. :D

The first user account that I remember the name of was created on Jan 6, 2002 (http://www.habbo.com/home/dizza2k). That was long enough ago that I have no idea how I came accross it. I do remember that my brother and I used to share the account. Some very kind Habbo gave us a Pizza Box and we managed to just keep trading until we had rooms and room of furni. We also made the mistake that when ione gave out the presents with the Throne, Holoboy or Samovar in them, we started collecting Holoboy's thinking they were nicer, bad mistake :p

I was introduced to runescape by a friend and then about a week later (July 2006), the same friend introduced me to Habbo and I played Habbo for around a year, got hacked, played runescape for a while and then went back to Habbo :P

My friend Alex told me about it. We started off on USA near summer year 7, then he showed me RuneScape summer year 8. Showed me everything really, but I always got better than him, I had the furni, the better account etc so he quit in the end.

My older brother was playing Habbo Hotel in 2002, I went by and looked at the computer and went "Wow, what is that?"
And it all started from there. :P

Then my brother left in 2005, I still carried on 5 years later to now.

It was a nice day in May 2003, I was sitting at my horribly old 700mhz recent XP upgraded computer when my brother and his friend Dylan came in and were playing Habbo. I saw them playing and thought it looked fun.

I thought narnian teleporters were closets and didn't know how to sit down, and the first room I went in, I remember, were those L shaped rooms.

I was on holiday in a foreign country and there was a Pop World magazine. I happened to read it and there was a double spread about Habbo.... bearing in mind this was like 8 years ago when it was just opening xD

then probs in like year 7/8 some of my mates started using it so i joined up again and then i got a job on habbomeadow and kept playing whilst most of them quit, then moved away and habbo gave me something to do til i started school again and then i ended up on habbox, but 90% of the time i was at habbox i didn't play habbo.

Was on CokeMusic in 2002, it had closing hours so I got bored and found threads saying CokeMusic VS. Habbo and signed up. Was too be runescaping there with my party hats, didn't start hardcore playing till 2004. Ended that in 2006.

My best friend told me about it so I decided to join up, he gave me free furni to get me started and I suppose I just lasted longer than he did :P

by like the end of august i had my own scruffy airport and I remember us 3 were on and a guy came into my airport who was abusing us so we trapped him in the corner then started waving and dancing. back then i found waving and habbo dances incredibly hilarious. shortly after that they quit but i stayed on it since.

i remember in december 2005 (i think it was) the black monolith was released into the rares section. i must've got £15 worth of credits so i could buy loads of monoliths, i did and sold them on and thats how i got fair rich.

Shortly after trading the monoliths I got into the casino world and by March I had my very own casino, it was quite nice. Red Ambers, Red Pillows stacked up then Throne Sofas for seating. Then I remember a guy coming in and said "do you want doubled furni?" i just said "yeah sure" and he said "done". I was like ? he didnt even say a website or anthing so I thought that was strange... when i came round to selling my casino items in Chivo's trade room I noticed that everything i was selling didnt leave my hand and this is when i found out that the guy scripted my furni into some furni doubler. So i started selling loads because I was gaining more furniture and wasn't loosing anything (which was totally wrong but I was 13 at the time, I couldn't care less). Then after the version 9 update in March, the scripting got patched and I was left with about x3 then what I had when i was selling the casino. I was known for having a decent shop which was busy even when i wasn't online. The shop got me more rares for norms and there is how my Habbo Life started.

September 2007 was my biggest spell, where I had 30T worth, but then lost 20T to Falout.

I took short breaks and came on regularly and in March 2008 I opened my T R A D E room which competed with Vintus, some of you may remember it, I put loads of effort into getting that room popular but eventually (June) I gave up because Trade City was too dominating.

So that's pretty much the highlights so far :)

My best friend and I were watching a movie, and his little brother was playing habbo on the computer in the same room. My friend went out to go get some food and his little brother asked me if I could help him to understand a word he didn't know meant, so I saw habbo and was like, cool. :)

My brothers friend introduced me to Habbo on the bus back from town. He used to tell me how he snuck into a gang as a VIP and got paid numerous amounts. I then somehow got enough furni together and made a falling furni, there on getting richer and richer.
