MSN Problems + Rep!

Right I just changed my MSN and it's not letting me change my display name. Any suggestions??

You need to verify your email address.

Go to Live.com, sign in and verify it.

Have it already verified, when I try do it again it says "This e-mail address has already been verified or does not need to be verified."

What do you mean you "changed" your MSN? Be specific.

Is the box greyed out? If it is, I will try to find I code I found which kets you type in the greyed box.

This is very common, all my email address are custom ones, it takes a few signing in's and out's to get it to change your name for you :)

I think there is a program called WindowsEnabler or something and it allows you make a "locked" text field edittable. Use that to change the display name. If it resets back to the default then it wasn't verified or something.

Try this:

Close MSN - Go to Start - Control Panel - Add & Remove Programs - ‘Windows Live Essentials’ (if using WLM 2009) or ‘Windows Live Messenger’(if using WLM 8.5) - Click on 'Remove' - And then on 'Repair' - Wait when the Wizard finishes - Sign in again!
