I love how throughout that whole thing they always said 'Is your Son' 'Is HE' etc Do they not think that maybe some girls do it too. Was a funny read though.

Lol at this:

They may take to carrying "glow-sticks (http://glowproducts.com/quinten.jpg)" and some wear pacifiers (http://media.chickclick.com/chickclick/image/culfea_rave_165.jpg) around their necks.

How does that make them a hacker LOL and the bit about them keeping books about hacking. You can tell a 'Dad' has written this, love it.

If your son has undergone a sudden change in his style of dress, you may have a hacker on your hands. Hackers (http://www.geocities.com/syme1984/hackers_graphics/hackg02.gif) tend to dress in bright, day-glo colors. They may wear baggy pants, bright colored shirts and spiky hair dyed in bright colors to match their clothes.

quality, really funny.
Is this guy being serious tho?

Don't they understand that often children hit an age (Teenage) normally at like 13/14 where they go through drastic changes anyway. They either end up going Chav or Emo (not everyone though) so they are obvs gonna have a change in clothing style until they grow out of it. Plus i doubt you can judge a hacker from their clothes. I'm hardly gonna go out and wear glow sticks, baggy pants, bright coloured t-shirts and get spikey hair and then decide to get on someones facebook or summet :P

They are correct though in their behavioural observations, like spending loads of time on comp and stuff as thats what you'd expect. And the various software being installed, but the bit at the end is just ridiculous lool.

Lol i think the gay community would be outraged by this stereotypical view.

I really can't understand where this guy is coming from. It started off all being correct. And then he just went mental about glow sticks and stuff.

Trust me, I'm on 24/7, ask anybody... Well, I'm on from when I get home from school until like 1am in the morning, nevermind weekends LOL...
(Staying up 'til1am lately because it's summer holidays soon anyway)
The only day i get a rest off the computer is on the weekend when i go out with mates lool.

I'm on when i'm not doing anything else.

I can't really say when i'm online though. Cos sometimes i'll just randomly go out with mates or something etc or have work to do.

But tbh Internet and Computers are quickly overtaking the TV, i used to spend more time watching TV than on the internet. Now its the reverse. I think this article is very narrow minded.

Haha, I've seen this a couple of times, its quite funny. I always thought those ridiculously strict, stupid, parents were just jokes put in films, but obviously not.

Lmfao!!
"If your son spends more than thirty minutes each day on the computer, he may be using it to DOS other peoples sites. DOSing involves gaining access to the "command prompt" on other people's machines, and using it to tie up vital internet services (http://home.netscape.com/). This can take up to eight hours. If your son is doing this, he is breaking the law (http://www.redwolfairsoft.com../images/review%20images/Super90%20M3/lapd%20m3.jpg), and you should stop him immediately. The safest policy is to limit your children's access to the computer to a maximum of forty-five minutes each day."

OK, 9 Reasons for Him being wrong:

1-Hes Probably like my my cousins Dad. (Annoying, Freaky, GAY & Thick).
2-Hes Probably not even got 6 kids.
3-Hes probably like 60yrs old now & didn't have any computers when he was young.
4-Teenagers go through 'Phases' in which we change our tastes, Interests & Dislikes.
5-GLOWSTICKS????? My 6yr old Sister carrys around glowsticks, Shes not a Hacker... I think.....
6-Most NORMAL people (Even adults, some) Spend more than 30 minutes on the Computer/Laptop.
7-I Need Ice Cream (Random)
8-Some Kids want to download random Hacker software, Like me (I'm not a hacker.... Or am I???)
9-I forgot....

I am, To be honest, a Hacker, I don't hack things Like Facebook, Youtube, Habbo or other things like that. But I do Hack some folders on games I buy, (After i complete them) I Hack them to get the God Powers they use to test the game, Or to Put My own custom content in the game. I DO NOT Carry glowsticks or wear bright, baggy clothes.

Aha, the best bit about me was "if they spend more than 30 minutes on the computer they are probably DDOSing xP - Fail at his life.

Also the bit about linux made me laugh xP - It will destroy the computer and is very illigal.

Linux is a very good OS. You can DDoS in 30 seconds. You don't need to wear a dummy. You don't read books. Flash is a basic package, all computers should have it. This man is a troll.

9. Has your son radically changed his appearance?
If your son has undergone a sudden change in his style of dress, you may have a hacker on your hands. Hackers (http://www.geocities.com/syme1984/hackers_graphics/hackg02.gif) tend to dress in bright, day-glo colors. They may take to carrying "glow-sticks (http://glowproducts.com/quinten.jpg)" and some wear pacifiers (http://media.chickclick.com/chickclick/image/culfea_rave_165.jpg) around their necks. (I have no idea why they do this) There are many such hackers in schools today, and your son may have started to associate with them. If you notice that your son's group of friends includes people dressed like this, it is time to think about a severe curfew, to protect him from dangerous influences.
