View Full Version : Have you ever thought about being the opposite gender?

I've decided to post this thread after a conversation in the help desk with Lizzie, Lexi and myself, in which we were (at first jokingly) talking about what we would do for a day if we were of the opposite gender. Then I asked her if she'd ever genuinely considered being the opposite gender and being me of course that conversation was short lived.
So again back to the thread! Have you ever thought about what it would be like to be of the opposite gender? A girl's response to this is normally, "yes, because I wouldn't have to put up with periods," and--well a boy's approvingly response should be quite obvious :P
Have you ever thought about it? Thought about it often? Seriously considered or genuinely believe you'd prefer to be the opposite gender?

honestly? no I don't believe I have :O
I've jokingly said "oh, I wish I was a boy!"
but really? I kind of like being a girl.
sure we have drama and whatnot but there's so much you can be like when you're a girl.
we do have a lot of mean girls on this earth who put others down so they have no self esteem left.
all in all, though? i like being a girl.
we don't have to be good at sports or strong or anything.
we can really just be how we want as long as we like it that way.
i highly doubt i'd ever get a sex change because i just really don't have that strong of a desire to be a man at all!
If it means been able to have fun with the hot straight guys, sure =D
Then again, there are more hot gay/bi guys nowadays :)

Absolutely but I don't imagine becoming a transgender female would be the thing for me, I'd still know that I was born male

I think it'd be easier being male (A), but I'd never consider a sex change

Where's the poll option for "No I haven't thought about it"?
There's many pros and cons to both genders, neither one is significantly better than the other so I can't see how it'd ever be worth changing gender but anyways.

I would never have a sex change, but boys don't have all the ********, don't have to carry a baby for 9 months, they can get ready really quickly.
as much as I love being male, sometimes I think, I wish I was born a girl :P
Just mainly because of fasion-wise and hair-wise :P I prefer the female side ;D
Oh, i'd never have a sex change though :)

I can't say I have, obviously when younger it crosses your mind (when we read Bills new frock in Primary) but never genuinely. :P

Awwh! I think I understand what you mean. Males can appreciate fashion too--people would just think bad things about us is all!

Actually I think you have the win on this to an extend, because if you're having a bad hair day you can just put your hair in a pony tail!

After turning thirteen you've never considered it once, not ever, Danny?
It would be so much easier being a guy, but I wouldn't want a sex change.

Oh, and i'd want big wotsits.
But yeah, I wouldn't get a sex change or anything freaky like that. Just have fun!

No sex changes, but I have thought of what it'd be like to be a girl. All those skirts & dresses.
If I were a girl, I'd probably be a **** that always wears short-skirts tbh
Ofc I would love to have my own vagina & breasts for a day lol.
But stuff like periods, pregnancies, birth puts me off tbh

like i never get id'd at all unless we're with GUYS who are obviously underage lol and same at school teachers treated us better :/
but i feel more like a guy sometimes >.> i prefer gaming, having male friends etcetc but i still try my best to look girly as possible, so yeah i do but i'm glad to be a girl
& periods are NOTHING, i like mine even though i end up stuck in bed the first day.
