What are your thoughts on Dungeoneering?

Although it's been a couple of months, I think it would be nice to see the review it gets, even though a lot of the forum hates it.

It's terrible. It's slow experience, it's boring and is just more like a mini-game, might as well make the skill bloody "Mini-games" so there are many locations. Which leads me to my next point, it's in one area. You can't just do it anywhere, you have to be in Daemonheim and do the game there. Then for max xp you need friends who want to play as well. Rubbish skill!

What's your thoughts?

I enjoy it, yeah it's not the best skill in the world and maybe the hype it generated made it an anti-climax in the end but its something different where you can train up most skills without spending a penny (even if it is slower, its still free :P)!

It may be free but it just makes Runecrafting look a lot better than it actually is, and that's pretty terrible imo :P!

I've not tried it yet, just got back into runescape last week. Training up my skills to roughly what my friends have got then I think I'll try it.

As above i only joined again this week, i played it and TBH didn't get it ;P so i got to level 5 and stopped haha.

I haven't tried it yet. I've been using penguins and exp lamps to train it. I read a few guides on it, and it looked really confusing to me. Some of the rewards look really good though, like the anti-poison totem and the scroll of life.

Not the greates skill in the game and the max 120 level is stupid as well.
However with the upcoming updates it could turn out to be a very usefull skill.

It's an alright skill to pass the time in, and with this week being update 2 for dungeoneering we can expect better rewards and such

You should read the development blogs more,
This location is going to be the first of many; there are going to be a lot more dungeons and rewards to explore and pilfer.
Admittedly, when alone, the skill can be tedious, but the exp is relatively fast at low levels; until about 45, you level up every other dungeon.
-Easy exp
-Fun with friends
-A LOT more to come.

So yeah, pretty good skill if you ask me.

Brilliant skill the only downside of it is max level 120 but then jagex all has it planned out for a reason.

Maybe the lvl 120 cape might be the strange power emote, but im unsure as no1 is at 120 yet :P

Yeah, also news update: the dungeoneering update twitter hint said the update was this week, however jagex mods confirmed that they pushed it back a week

the fact that they are pretty useless lol. all you seem to care about is total level

The rewards are pretty good aswell.
Best F2P weapons, some of the best P2P weapons.
Unlimited water runes, +15% magic damage.
All seem pretty good to me.
Not to mention I find it pretty fun to do with friends.

Nope, you can get trim when you get 99 as well, for trim you need to have another 99.
