Can't really quote much from it, you need to read it.

Was nice knowing you all.

The media has been kept away from the emergency salvage measures being taken to forestall the biggest catastrophe in human history. The federal government has warned them away from the epicenter of operations with the threat of a $40,000 fine for each infraction and the possibility of felony arrests.

Why is the press being kept away? Word is that the disaster is escalating. The whole thing reeks of an awful conspiracy theory. There seems little agreement within the scientific community about this and I don't really see any decent sources picking up on this.

Inseriousity.

I like how they have sources for all the historical stuff, but none of the speculation.

"All three warning signs are documented to be occurring in the Gulf."
"Why is the press being kept away? Word is that the disaster is escalating."
"Some claim the seabed in the region has risen an astounding 30 feet."
"Most experts in the know, however, agree that if the world-changing event does occur it will happen suddenly and within the next 6 months."

All unsourced

The historical evidence is accurate, as is the speculation, but the scientific evidence/speculation is without sources.

How do you know the speculation is accurate then?

Well it's perfectly right to speculate about the methane bubble, history tells us it's happened many times before, so logically it should happen again.

Scientifically, however, without any evidence there is no indication it will happen now. In fact, there is no scientific evidence or any consensus from 'the Scientific community', no sources at all. All speculation really.

What a stinky looking conspiracy theory. IF it were to happen, all they'll need to do is light a match in the area and you're left with water, carbon and some hydrogen, if the experiment I remember at school means anything. Do it in the winter and we won't have to worry about heating :D

A lot of things to worry about really;

- the slowing down of the core.
- yellowstone volcano.

An interesting read though, never knew about those extinctions due to methane coming from the sea bed.

you know lots -clap

not, this kind of involvement in the sea is what causes the gulf stream to stop (not that it will), when the gulf stream stops the motion of the worlds water halts, when that happens we get a poisonous gas coming off the waters something along the lines of Hydrogen chloric acid or something, forgot the name. And the waters then become poisonous. So yeah, people with money would survive through filters etc, but then they'd also have to live off very little food.

But it won't happen

when that happened back then it was of natural cause, not because a human stuck a pin it it, back then it exploded out of the sea rather than flowing out through a tube.

Exactly, I read half, got bored due to the lack of sources. Lacks credibility.
