Your opinion on this :)

I've heard some interesting opinions before about people not believing in marriage, so yeah thoughts? :)

i think personally 18+ seeing as when your 18 you get more responsibiltys and you start becoming a bit more mature :)

24/25 then kids at 27-30
Yeah same :)

Both got fairly good jobs at age of 25 to pay for the wedding - enjoy a few years married but without kids and then have kids :)

Then when your kids are grown up, live your 30s =]

No-one wants to settle into a full relationship too young, 25 is like the perfect age :/

Hmm I believe that if someone wants to get married it should be 25+, however I don't think I want to get married. It would feel to binding and like constrained. Probably wouldn't think about marriage until I was pregnant anyway

I wouldn't necessarily say there is a suitable age to get married. Of course, I think getting married at a very young age could have a lot of negative consequences, but I think as long as the two people are really in love, and believe they're ready to commit their life to someone, go for it!

My mum and dad were like 20/22 when they got married and stayed married for 27 years. My Nan and Grandad married slightly earlier and were married for 57 years. I personally think that when you're ready then you're ready to get married. Although people do seem to get married these days because its the thing to do or it makes money *cough Mrs Reid cough* but I think peoples flippant attitude towards marriage means that when they do get married its almost bound to fail as they're expecting to get a divorce somewhere down the road.

I'm not mocking anyone who doesn't believe in marriage but for those who do and say ''if it doesn't work out then we will just get a divorce'' clearly aren't ready for marriage and possibly wouldn't be until much later in life. Or at least thats my personal opinion from what I've seen around me.

When the pair feel there good and ready and they can take on the responsibility of marriage.

i'd say 16+
if you don't think things through with marrage and just rush through it, their fault.

i'd say a good age to get married is about aged 25-30 seeing you have matured alot by then and settled down with a job. :L

I would say around early 20s because your not too young!

I would say 23+ I think you should be old enough that you've really thought about it. Personally I don't wanna be too old because I wanna be young in my wedding photographs :P

You can't say 18+.. who says you'll be more mature? I could be 30 and acting like a ****

I'd say whenever your ready in a stable relationship.

I just hope people dont get married to the person whos not the "one" and end marrying like 4 men or women :L

I don't really see marriage as a priority. But whenever its right.

I think to me a suitable time for getting married is when I've achieved the main things in my life, and I feel ready to tie myself down to one person.
I personally can't ever see myself tying myself to the one person forever, I mean surely everyone checks out other people too? :/

No age, get married for the person if you really love him/her.

20+ i would say, i think its to early when you havnt at least hit your 20's yet. But my personaly i would like to be married later than that, i want to be able to see new things and do what i want to do and not be tied down with a permanent relationship, if that makes any sense lol.

i'd say 20+ toooo
i think it's cute when old people get married and stuff so i don't think theres an age that's 'too old' but i think anything under 20 is a bit too young

Alexx..
16-08-2010, 11:09 AM
I'd say 20+ but I don't think i'll ever get married or have kids so I really don't have a say on it.

I feel marriage is a big commitment! You really never know when the right time is, only you can really decide! I feel being a teenager and getting married is far too young as you know it probably won't last, then you have to go through a tiresome divorce and have thrown a part of your life away.
