Japanese would be pretty cool, it just looks so different to our language and would be like starting again from scratch, seeing as reading and writing it is not even slightly similar to English.

Norwegian - My auntie is Norwegian as are both of my cousins so it'd be nice to speak to them in their own language. I also visit quite frequently so it would come in handy. :)

Japanese. You don't need to know the language to get a job teaching English in the country, but it would make things easier on both ends. I would also love to be able to read Japanese novels and manga and I am a huge fan of Japanese cinema. I'd love to be able to watch and understand all those marvels not yet released with subtitles.

Pfft, like you would want a teaching job in Japan. Plus you don't even watch Japanese films! :P

Latin because its a historical language and English has roots in it.
Mandarin because it would be useful as a big language alongside English.

This but also because it's the root of a few other European languages so would make learning them a lot easier

Most people who study latin can understand it in reading and writing, but can't speak it :P

Japanese, had to study it for English and it's sounds like an amazing language and a great place. I wouldn't be able to read Japanese handwriting though.
