Hello,

I am looking at VOIP phones or SIP phones. I am using SipGate for my number to get through to my computer but want a physical phone. I was looking on ebay for a really cheap one and saw this (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Swissvoice-IP10S-IP-Phone-PSU-/280533160105?cmd=ViewItem&pt=UK_Computing_Networking_SM&hash=item41511450a9#ht_500wt_1154) but I don't get how I connect them, I googled and didnt find anything. Then I saw this (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/VOIP-Skype-MSN-Internet-USB-Phone-White-Telephone-USED-/140426623668?cmd=ViewItem&pt=UK_Computing_MicrophonesPhones_RL&hash=item20b2143ab4#ht_500wt_928) it says USB so I assume its somewhat plug and play sort of thing? Does anyone know how easy would be to do first one or would it just be eayser to have 2nd one?

Thanks Jamie

Jack!

You can use an ADSL Cable usually, and plug it into your PC that way, but you need a connection for it on your PC

From what I know, IP phones like that one above need a telephone switch.

ADSL Cable into your computer is required to use VOIP. I deal with alot of these for companys in and around where i live ( Hull ) :)
