Gotta post a letter and I need to provide proof (a tracking number) that I have sent the letter (because I have a dispute on PayPal that needs to be sorted).
The item I am posting back fits in an envelope, can you get tracking numbers for envelopes?!?! the item was sent to me in an envelope (and they provided a tracking number) so I will be sending it back in an envelope. Does it cost extra, or something?
Any help gets +REP thanks.

Yes, you can and it does cost extra, but if it's only an envelope it's not going to cost much. Ask to send it recorded delivery.

So if I ask for recorded delivery on my envelope they will give me a receipt with tracking number on, yes? they won't have to sign for it will they? it fits through the letter box lol.

Anything through recorded delivery they will need to sign for it, no matter what the size it.

I didn't have to sign for the letter they sent to me which also had a tracking number? my Post Man must have been cutting corners!
You need to go to the post office and ask for recorded delivery for it. They will need to sign for it - it's part of the point of recorded delivery so you can prove they received it because they signed it.
@above - yes they do that a lot.

They do cut corners, but mine doesn't. Usually for special delivery they never do.

Can't blame them for cutting corners, I would.
