Ok, my girlfriend's birthday is coming up, we've been going out for a month, wanna make it special, but obv, I'm 16 can't afford an aeroplane with "happy birthday" tied to the back. What do 16yrold girls want for their birthdays anyways!?!? Thoughts people? Much appreciated :)

Erm, what i would probably do is either give her some perfume or make up (or something similar). If not this then take her shopping (yeh might be boring for you if you dont like shopping) and tell her here's "x amount of money" go and find something you like.

Hope this helps. :)

I really disagree with doing something you dislike 'for love'. If you watch a chick flick you hate with her for love, and then she watches an action movie for you that she hates 'for love' you have both done something you hate. Or she could see the chick flick and you see the action movie. See what I mean?

Don't get anything big, if you do it'll make you look like a tool trying to buy her love. Put bluntly, she'll want a good railing (if you are on a sexual level ofc!).

Ask her what she would like? Quite obvious. But of course she may say 'oh nothing' meaning GET HER SOMETHING!! How about take her out to watch a movie that you will both enjoy then take her for a meal in which again you will both enjoy. And get her a small gift she can treasure?

How about you take her out for a nice picnic? Can be quite cheap and it's the thought that counts, obviously you'd need the bloody weather to pick up a bit though!

Take her for dinner then on the night, take out a long box with a necklace in it then put it around her neck and say happy birthday.

if you can be arsed take her shopping (poundland) Then to a restaurant (McDonalds) Then go to the cinema ( a bad copy of a film on your laptop)

Nah seriously take her on a day trip at a weekend to a zoo or something like buying a couple of gig tickets for her favourite band even if you don't like the band :P If you go on a day trip buy some pointless gift in from a gift shop and wrap it off with a meal in a proper restaurant/ take her for a film or both! Depends how much you like her :)

This idea, take her out to her favourite place to eat or take her to a place that makes her favourite food!

LOL, that made me laugh.
