We couldn't get away with anything at school really. Shirts had to be tucked in, tie up to top (before clip on), top buttons done, shoes clean, etc. I'm glad for it really though because it just meant we all looked smart.
Of course, being Head Boy, my uniform was always in tip top shape... ;)
Nothing lolol
Bring in trainers = Saturday detention
Forget tie = Detention
Forget blazer = Detention

we weren't allowed flesh gaps (neck or stomach:S) or big logos on our shirts, you weren't allowed skirts without leggings or tights though
let's just say you got off with the flesh gap rule if you were a senior girl:)

We've got really strict orders in our school; top button done up, tie long, shirts tucked in and blazers on at all times. (You can only take them off during lessons with permission but around the corridors, no.)

That's the same as my school, Someone once wore grey tights, they got a dt.
If we forgot anything they used to give us detention etc.
However i used to wear like a black cardigan with no school badge on it

My school was like that. After I left, loads of teachers were fired and a new head teacher came in, apparently it's much less strict now.

You don't have to tuck your shirt in most of the time, no tie, no blazers.
Top button could be hidden if u had ur tie there
If u were wearin ur jumper then u could have ur shirt not tucked in
Usually get away with no wearin the blazer
But usually, teachers would only care if another teacher was there, otherwise they'd let it slide

Are schools even allowed to keep you in on a weekend?
When I was at school, they were really strict about it in writing, and if OFSTED came around, but other than that it wasn't an issue.

get away with shirt not being tucked in, tie not done to the top, earings, and people wear make-up. Some of the teachers stop you in the corridor to make you do your tie up or whatever, but no one keeps it in. Make up has to be conspicuous though or they make you go take it off, sometimes teachers come round the loo's at break and lunch to take make-up off people. :L

**** all now. they've gone mad and you cant get away with anything any more - if you roll up your sleeves of your blazer, untucked shirt etc = detention. idk if we can get away with not wearing blazers cause we've got summer uniforms atm (h) (before the summer uniform they were pretty leniant) but we'll probs have to wear them along with our clip on ties after summer :l we cant even wear a support our troops wristband

Not many lads wore them at my school, they just stuck to the trousers! I think trackies are a lot harder to get away with at my school tbh!

oh god, everything really.
i wear black skinny jeans and they don't say anything, square jumpers in a way that's banned and some other things like flowers in hair.
lol, i also wore hightops.
We used to have no uniform but then our nice Head of 6th form has left this year and the horrible one has come and changed our uniform so I can no longer wear skinny Jeans to school :'(
In winter you could get away without wearing a tie unless they did a uniform check or you wore a v neck jumper. In summer, they let us untuck out shirts since tucked in is too hot.
You got told off if you didn't tuck your shirt in or your tie off if you was walking home from school.
They used to let you do anything with your hair, but they would prefer you not to.

I can understand the other uniform rebellions, a lot of them are just for comfort, but what's the point of wearing an extra t shirt (and probably getting pretty hot and uncomfortable) just so you can show it off for a little bit at dinner?

At my secondary school the only thing you could really get away with was a slightly short tie. A lot of people were sent home to collect shoes, ties, blazers etc if they didn't have them and were told not to come back until they found them. However at my 6th form, the uniform was quiet a relaxed uniform which had no ties and just blouses and they could wear skirts or trousers so the uniform was pretty flexible so no one really tried to get away with wearing other items.
But as a 6th form student we always had to dress smartly which meant to trainers, no shorts or jeans but t-shirts and plimsolls etc were allowed.

Trainers wasn't really a problem, they had a moan but gave up after a while, just started moaning again the start of the new term. Ties always up and blazers always on. Not much else you could get away with.

Oh right, no-one wears them then!!
Pretty much everything, unless you were a prefect.
I used to be able to wear black jeans, striped shirts, river island/nike/adidas jumpers with big logos and bright colours, white trainers etc..
The only thing i had to do was wear the school tie.

You get away with almost nothing at my school apart from your hair. Oh and with P.E (Physical Education) you can where any sort of shoes it they don't have to be "sports shoes".
