Musical theater

Am I the only person here who is addicted to musical theater -- Broadway and West End? I don't see very many people who like it, especially not on Habbo, where it seems every sentence ends with either "Jonas Brothers", "Justin Beiber", or "HSM".

What are your favourite shows? I love Chicago and Grease although I'm also a bit of a sucker for classics such as Les Mis and Fiddler on the Roof - I tend to love the British classics tbh, although contemporary musicals such as "We Will Rock You" are very well done, but I don't think you can beat some of the classics in the West End such as Blood Brothers.

My all-time favorite is Next to Normal -- especially with Alice Ripley playing the main character. I can't stop recommending it. The entire show (off-Broadway version) is up on YouTube. Someone videotaped it. You can PM me for the link, if you want.
Other than that, I like Les Miserables, The Light in the Piazza, and pretty much anything with a Frank Wildhorn score.

well, i studied acting for 2 years and we had to do a whole module on musical theatre, so i can't say i love it that much anymore, but ahah, i'm very educated about it!

my favourite musical is cabaret, i think it's because it seems so fun, but it's so dark underneath. yum controversy.
