I seen quite a few of these scam and sadly some have fallen for this, I would like to post this to warn everyone just in case, this is not a new scam, but many people have forgotten about it, thats why it works now.

What they will do is, Person A will come to you and ask if you got a certain furni and will pay a lot more for it, most likely you will not have it and they will add ur in f/r and leave

Then Person B comes along and sells the exact same time Person A asked for and a very high price but lower than what the Person A was prepared to pay, you might be encouraged to buy that item and sell to Person A to make a profit once you buy the item, Person A no longer wants it, this is a scam

Person A and Person B are the same person, just trying to sell noob stuff for very high prices, I have been tried, but they failed

I have seen some victims of this scam such as a person paid 350c for chinese red knot which is worth 1-2c

I remember falling for that once! I bought a valentines cauldron without realizing it had just been given out in PayDay+ and it was a friend at the time who done it. I still made a profit though :P

Oh someone tried to do this to me in my rare shop with a red knot. He seemed quite a reputable person but obviously not.
I'm gonna have a moan if I see him again now.

I got caught with this on RS before the trade limit.

Bought wooden spoon for 800k to sell for 3.2m... damn I was stupid back then.
