Do you have a dish washer?

I'v been to some peoples houses and they don't have dish washers. I really don't understand how they survive?

Our dish washer must be on all the time, it's never ending pots!

Yes we do and we never use it. Its just as easy to wash and dry up as it is to load and let a dish washer take half an hour or how ever long and then having to empty it.
Also because of the amount of waste it creates with water and electricity. A sink full of hot water is a lot more economical than a dish washer.

yes, we have it on literally non-stop despite it being fairly big and only being a family of 4 :L usually me or my dad pack or unpack it. unpacking it together in return to alkaz's comment takes 5 minutes at the upmost.

It's just me and my mum and we have ours on all the time haha. I think its due to my mums work shifts - too late to do much when she comes home.

Yes we do. It's broken atm and we're waiting for an engineer to fix it but it's becoming unbearable having to wash everything!

When our dish washer broke, my mum said she wasn't going to get one to cut costs. A day after saying that, she ordered a new one ^_^

The majority of the time they work perfectly but sometimes you'll get the odd-wash and just had to put it on again. No big deal :P

We've had a dishwasher 5 years now.. at first we thought we'd never use it but now we just don't know how people can manage without one. Obviously we hand-wash the non dishwasher safe cups and stuff but other than that, it's fine :)

We dont have a dishwasher in our kitchen - not enough space.

My mum & her partner are usually at work durin the day - so usually after i've had my tea i wash the pots but then my mum does them last thing at night if there are any other pots.

Yeah we have a dishwasher, we have had one for quite some time. If it ever went away, we would miss it dearly! :P

Yeah we do have one but my mum kind of refuses to use it LOL. She says the best way to get the dishes clean are by hand.. weird I know. I always use it though :P

I didn't have one in my first flat (though I lived on my own then) but I've had one in both of my last 2 houses/flats.

We don't have one, usually my mum or stepdad wash the dishes. When they're away/on holiday or something I really wish we had one, but I always make sure there's a pack of paper plates and stuff in the cupboard so I can just throw them out :)
I seriously didn't realise how many people had them until I read this thread, I was expecting most people to say no.

Yep we have one, got it only like 2 years ago though. I find that sometimes it doesn't clean glasses enough and theres like bits in them so then we have to wash them again manually.

We have one but I haven't been using it that much lately because I find it's just easier to wash my own pots after I've used them. Unless of course there's loadsssss or I'm feeling lazy, then they'll go in the dish washer.
