I used to play habbo about 2 years ago, until I was scammed in a casino. I lost a throne. I know it was my own fault and everything, but the person who scammed me was very well known as 'safe'

Anyway, I reported her, and only got a message back basically telling me it was my own fault and nothing would be done, even though I had proof.

Does anything happen to people like this now? or does habbo still allow cheaters to carry on?

I would like to know before I spend much money on the site :/

Haha, thats ridiculous. Especially when people have proof if it...

And the dealer I used was/still is known as safe. I made rooms saying that they scammed me, but obviously they were deemed 'unacceptable to hotel management' which is also a total joke :L

The accounts were never deleted even if they were punished. They would simply be banned - which seems to be rare these days. I s'pose the best you can do is try and not fall for there scams :)

It's a pain when you get scammed because some time's it's not right there in your face that you're going to get scammed. Habbo can't really do anything about it either, but I guess they could do a bit more, like actually looking into it than saying it's their own fault.

They only got there accounts banned for so many days or even a perm ban but even if there accounts got deleted they could of easily made another one and carry on scamming people!

You cannot be banned for scamming in a casino. Either way, if you win or lose, you clicked the "agree" or "confirm" button which also gave you a message that nothing could be done if the other person is scamming. Theres nothing you can do and nothing they can do.

A good thing to do it use a casino that's rich, busy, only bet the owner and if you can, bet someone with a high "status". Someone that's well known on habboxforum or something because they're less likely to scam.

What I do most times is check for scam rooms. However, by the time I have done this I have already betted. But I only bet people I know, if they are my friends I know they will not want to scam me so I just ask for the bet I paid back.
However, last year I got banned for scamming but Habbo just un ban you on numerous occasions after you appeal so the people can just lie say it wasn't them and continue scamming.

The only people who seem to get banned are people who ask for passwords or say ... "hey habbo is so safe ..... when you say your password out loud it comes out in stars ..... ******** ... see you try" ... i think its stupid if they want to be rich they should earn it
