It depends what school you go to, if it's just normal not really too strict or anything then you can get away with trainers as long as they aren't bright. I know when I was going into year 7 I was like you and got proper shoes, well everyone wore proper shoes in year 7/8 but then the teachers just get lazy and you realise that you can come into school with dark coloured trainers and the teachers just won't mind. Through years 8/9/10 I have worn black laced lacoste trainers, some black k-swiss and some adidas black/gold, I'd say about 50% of the boys wear dark coloured trainers now. Good luck with your new school and don't let anyone on here convince you to wear trainers or you'll just be the odd one out. :P

The fact is though, you are showing off ... everyone has read your posts in particular the one about the Teacher when you were doing PE. No-one is interested in it mate, you'll soon see this in Year 7 and soon see you wanna wear Trainers and the England Shirt as your Skl Shirt!

You seem to have doubts anyway!

Cos some can have the luck of getting away with it and some are just pure wusses!! If you have a Blazer over it - it is easy (or/and a V-Neck Jumper).

Well if someone went into my school with an england shirt and a blazer, they'd look kind of odd. I reckon people might even laugh at them. But if that's the latest "thing to do" in your school then fair enough. :P

I am not trying to persuade him to do anything .... he probably is an old man in his 50s anyway!!!

You only have to see how un-realistic aqnd un-true his typing is for an 11 year old!

i just really dont understand how you [Scallz] can think that all of these things are 'in'

how can wearing an england shirt under a blazer look good?
schools that make you wear blazers do so in order to make you look smart, wearing an england shirt underneath... well you get the idea.

I cant imagine what school you go to/went to Scallz if you honestly believe that these things look good... 'skinny school ties' 'tracksuits for school' 'trainers for school' (although black trainers do look ok :P) and 'england shirt for school'...

its just utterly ridiculous.

Not that i think youre 50, gibs.

and you obviously are trying to persuade him, youve told him countless times how 'good' wearing these things for school are, you are trying to promote wearing them for school, and are therefore trying to persuade him to wear them.

It is better to not be a "sheep" and following the rules to margain is all I mean!

........ AND OBVIOUSLY i'd not wear Trakkies and England Shirt together cos you'd get caught ... just wearing 1 is cool enough

its not cool at all (and thats not just my opinion)

and wearing the correct uniform is not being a 'sheep', its called 'doing what you should do if you dont want to look like a ****** and get into trouble'

the rules are there for a reason, and tbh id like to see some pictures of you going to school wearing these things (i highly doubt you will)

I have NOT TOLD him countless times! I challenge you to add all these "so called qoutes" into 1 reply if you believe this!

Also just look at his posh typing - I went to Trafford or whatever it was he said ... any real kid would say "I went to JJB or whatever" more so some-one Gibs age!!, or I "went down Town".

The users on here have a right oddment in Gibs here I say!

it may not be countless times, but it certainly is a lot.

in all of these you are either telling him to wear it, saying why wearing it is good, why not wearing it is bad, or are posting a pointless comment about wearing it which doesnt contribute to the thread at all.

The first 2 was meant for Gibs ... the others' was'nt!

Ps, I don't give a damn what your name is to be frank ... it could be "King Kong" for all it interests me!

Pps, anyway whatever age Gibs is or is'nt he is quite managable of doing what HE wants to do without my or anyone else's help ... his "so called threads" prove this at the very least!
