Right, my cousins ipod touch will not allow connections to wireless networks anymore. The wifi setting in settings is simply greyed out and it says "no wifi". Does anyone know how to fix this? I'm not sure what generation it is, 2 or 3 i think? It's 32gb if that helps :) I've tried looking all over google and it just isn't happening :(

my friend had this problem (or what i think is the same problem) and all he could do was restore it to factory settings.

fixes the problem, but removes everything off the iPod, so make sure its all backed up first ;)

Yeah that was the one thing I didn't try.. tried resetting everything from the ipod, didn't do the erase content thing though. But will give the restore to factory settings thing a go when he gets back from spain haha :)

Is he on ios 4? If so, tell him to make sure that airplane mode is disabled.

Don't think he is, will attempt to update it when he gets back though, see if it fixes anything :)
