View Full Version : +REP shoes with these jeans?

I know the converse shown in the image go well with these jeans but I don't feel that converse are my style. I wear white plimsolls a lot but the bother of washing them and having trouble doing so is getting to be a real bore so I all I'm asking for is simple suggestions. I was looking at a simple pair of white vans earlier and they wouldn't look to bad with these but I though I'd post here to have you share your thoughts of what would go with these. +REP to anybody that posts good ideas! Thanks.

They look good. How easily washable are these? I hope they don't have so many horrible disadvantages as plimsolls, they look similar.

Easy.

There made of a mesh type material so they wipe easier then typical plimsolls do too :)

I personally think the black looks a lot nicer and would go well with jeans.

You can get away with shoes or trainers with jeans.

Depends what suites you really, the best thing to do would be to go to Schuh or JD Sports and try some on :)

Those spikey bits on the soles really turn me off for them.
I'd personally go for the Vans, I have had the same pair for almost five years now, and they're still just as comfy and sturdy as the day I bought them. You definitely get your moneys worth out of Vans imo, the Fred Perry ones look kinda weak

I recommend:
http://www.shoeteria.com/products2.cfm?ID=13027

I find them very comfortable and I wear them with the same jeans in the image.

I also wear:
http://www.freestyleshop.com/s28031-red.html

with the jeans and they look quite good.

and if your not into high tops or slip ons than something like this should be good:

Hope I helped! Good luck.

dunno if its your style, but i recommend reebok ex-o-fit:

usually i dont like all white shoes cause they get so clearly dirty fast, but these shoes are so awesome.

but as others said, vans have countless good shoes. i prefer vans era.

Would say high tops... Those adidas ones exclusive to foot locker are sexy... but the downside is they're something like £65 :/

Obviously wearing them, don't be stupid
They just look weak, and seeing as all Vans shoes are made for skateboarding, thus are built to last, I guarantee that a pair of Vans will last longer than a pair of Fred Perrys

Yeah your right but vans arn't to everyones taste. Fred perrys don't last long but can be easily washed and it does depend on what your doing with them eg, i don't rec' you walk through a field in your white fred perrys or go horseriding etc etc.

Fred perrys are designed for nights out and times where your basically going to be walking and not sports, and vans are made for basically everything else.

Some nice white hightops will go well with them.
You could buy some real nice smart black shoes to go with them too, your be surprised how comfy shoes are.
