Windows live messenger (MSN)

I was forced to download a new version of it and now I can't use webcam as in just viewing, I have to do video call which crashes my computer. Is there a way to just do viewing each others webcams?

PS. If I click the little camera logo thing next to dp then it just goes straight to video call :(

I've noticed this too.
If I click the "View this contact's webcam" it makes them automatically decline the invation, but when you do a video call it works straight away.

Would also like an answer! :)

There isn't a way... unless MSG Plus or someone can patch it back in.

My mistake, it was for a different issue, but it does solve the webcam issue.

EDIT: The uninstaller worked but the download one won't work, it's downloaded and then when I open it, it tells me to select a place to extract this file from :L
