Self explanatory.
If you don't want to see it then don't vote in the poll.
I usually go to see harry potter at least twice so I'll probably do it in both :)

I'd prefer to watch it in 3D, though I wouldn't mind either one :)

I don't really want to watch it through glasses but I think all the fighting and that will be amazing in 3D so like Kerry said I will probably see it in both! :D

what 3d films have you seen though?
I don't think there have been any amazing 3d movies yet which wouldn't have been as good in 2d. Hopefully this one might have things flying out of the screen etc.

Toy Story 3 and Avatar. 3D films are pointless in my opinion. I don't want things flying at the screen and crap like that. It's so gimmicky and filmmakers seem to be relying on it as a last resort to bring in a new audience, as if every other aspect of their film is rubbish and not worthy of bringing in viewers. They should be trying to grip audiences with the storyline and performances, not with some half-arsed effects. Forget 3D and get back to real filmmaking.

I know it'll be terrible in 3-D because most 3-D films are, and the glasses get on my nerves :P 'cos I have to put the 3-D glasses over my actual glasses :(
I'll probably go see it in 3D. Like someone said, some of the fighting scenes will probably look pretty cool in 3D with spells flying everywhere.

3D is too gimmicky, the others have been fine in 2D so im sure this one will be fine in it.

I hope 2D because 3D annoys me sometimes.
Inseriousity.

2D for films in general tbh. I love the harry potter series and go out of my way to see that at the cinema compared to other films that I just dip in and out of but I'm just not interested in the gimmick/cash-cow that 3d has become.
I'd rather pay to go to the cinema and watch it in 3D.

Isn't he like 20 odd now (Harry)? I only really liked watching it when I was 11/12 and the first one came out, then the second. I did really like it at the time, especially the chamber of secrets but I guess I have just grown out of it.

Are you serious? I went to see number 5 in 3D and it sucked to bad, only like 10% of it was 3D.
I'll be seeing it in 2D I like it alot more in 2D and it will save me a fair bit of money.

It is their last resort dude.
You cant make camrips of 3D films, so people will pay to see the film in the cinema.
3D is an anti-piracy method.

3D isn't an anti-piracy movement, it's a cash movement. Piracy remains the same as pirates record in 2D screenings.

Probably go see it in 3D
Our cinema has a screen built for 3d movies, so I'll be seeing it in 3d :)

Tell me that it hasn't worked though.
Tell me that it hasn't worked though.
A lot of films are copied during the screener when they're released to critics and for awards before release.

There are no screeners of theatrical releases, only prior to their home entertainment release. We go to press-only screenings, held usually at the (nearest) offices of the distributor, if not a cinema screen made private for the occasion.
