You get free apps via Installous directory & Cydia apps which are trillion times handy, plus your phone actually becomes "your phone", it isnt locked in by Apple.

So I wonder what the bugger you're on about.

You do it on the device itself by visiting www.jailbreakme.com (http://www.jailbreakme.com) :) and yes it does (it works on all iDevices apart from iPhone 2G, from what I know)

How does it make them boring though? It doesnt take away from any of the original functionality - it gives you more.

Make sure you get the patch so you get a notification every time a website exploits the PDF bug. :) (The same one you used to jailbreak it.)
