Would you be willing to participate in a referral competition if there were regulations such as each referral must post at least 5 times?

Big prizes for both Habbo and the Forum :)

Sure why not.
Would probably encourage advertising during events and in the Help Desk (which is where the most promotion should happen) too! :)

I would participate but I wouldn't do anything extraordinary, just what I do now, advertise in HxHD and other Habbox rooms a few times a day.

Yeah, but make it easier for them to refer someone, atm its like at the bottom, 3/4 of the way down

I guess, would be quite hard for the non-habboers sadly, but that's how it is n not much can be done bout that.

It's a nice idea, but I probably wouldn't do it. A few people that I know already use this forum from me in the past, and I doubt I would get anymore now.

I know, I'd love to take part but sadly I don't play habbo and I'm not sure if anyone on the Mac forum I go on would be interested. :s

No-one has ever cared about referrals in like the history of Habbox, the only viable winners would be DJs and possibly HxHD staff anyway

QFT. I wouldn't do it cuz who am I gonna ask, my "Habbo friends"? Cuz it's funny that everyone I know on Habbo I know from hxf, or I knew on Habbo & now they only go on hxf.

Vicious circle innit.

I think it would be a great idea, it's a great way in trying to get more people to sign up to the forum. But me personally i would try to participate but it is very hard to try and get referrals and probably do no more than what i do now, advertising in habbox rooms.

I don't think I would to be honest.
Somehow, however, I have over 15 referrals and I've never referred anyone so I don't know that happened :P I may or may not take part, I may advertise the forum once a day but won't go to the extreme.

Wow, this forum must be going downhill rapidly, giving prizes for posting a lot and now prizes just for referring someone...

Don't think it is that. Having said that it could appear so. Perhaps there is too much emphasis on growing the forum at the moment and having a referral competition is fine but making them post 5 times is a bit much as it just then seems an exercise to get more posts on the forum. Who is to say that when they have done that they could just leave anyway. This forum has always grown organically it does not need forcefeeding. There are some great initiatives on at the moment and I think they should be concentrated on rather than management asking us how we could attract new members or further posts as it is very unsettling and I do believe will lead to loss of confidence in it so in that respect WOOTZEH is right. Maybe it's a case of trying too hard?

All I'm going to say here is: if this happens then the budget needs to be watched, 57HCs (kk theyre next to nothing now but still) down the drain from it.

No because I simply don't have the time theese days to go round rooms and ask people to reffur me and make 5 posts, I simply don't have the time and they would think that it is to much work. People think that changing their motto and joining a group for our RP group is to much work let alone sign up on Habbox and reffur to me and HAVE to make five posts in order for me to win!

I wouldn't take part, I always advertise all Habbox sites in my events and I'd continue to do so, wouldn't put in anymore effort though.
