Hii welcome to the forum;
Click User CP at the top of the right hand side of the screen. Then on the left click Change Avatar. There are various ways to change it in there.

Welcome to the forum :)

To add a avatar go on Forum actions > Edit Avatar :)
You'll find that at the top of the page where there's a lot of options

Edit: or do what Jordesh said :P
