i find toothpaste works for the few that i get. But seriously, try and prevent them more than anything. I always wash my face (THOROUGHLY) before going to bed, and i have like one or two spots at most. So like try and wash your face (not just splash water on it) as often as you can and you should notice the number of em goin down

It varies from person to person which is the bad point :(
Make sure you wash your face morning and night with a good cleanser and then moisturize afterwards. I've been using T Zone Spot Stick and I still have spots but they aren't as bad as the used to be.

I think everyone's skin type varies, but there are lots of sites that have questionnaires to help you find your skin type, then you can pick products according to that. I tend to buy the more expensive things if they've had good reviews from Beauty Guru's on youtube.
A product that I'm using now is ST. Ives Apricot Scrub and so far the results have been good, it really feels like you're ex foliating your skin when you use it because there are lots of little grains, but it doesn't hurt your skin. And the scent is really nice too. I usually use it when I'm in the shower because the steam helps it sink in. And when it dries it doesn't go hard on your face.
But yeah, definitely wash your face morning and night.
I remember in year 7 when I started breaking out and it was quite bad, but now all I have is some redness from where the acne used to be.

Drink water & don't eat rubbish, sorted...lol w/e skincare expert :l

I'd suggest going to your GP and save yourself the time of experimenting with everything, they have more reliable and powerful stuff and it's free if you're under 18 I believe?

Lush sell something that's supposed to be really effective (http://lush.co.uk/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=flypage.tpl&product_id=786&option=com_virtuemart). Just make sure you're in and out of that place as fast as possible.

This and it depends on your diet (sugar) - you'll always have a breakout, but these factors can make a big difference.

not gonna weigh in on whos a jerk in the argument, but spuds is right on the water part (though junk food im pretty sure has shown to have no influence on pimples). sometimes the easiest solutions are the best ones; drink lots and lots of water every day, there are tons of benefits including clearer skin. and its not something that takes a while either, when i started being dedicated to drinking my 8+ glasses a day i noticed clearer skin within a couple of days. different skin products work better for different people but water works for everyone.

Go to your GP, I've got Oxytetracycline on prescription and I use Neutrogena spot stress control.

There's two very different types of spots, the spots you get from not washing, eating badly and being dirty. These can be eradicated by either sorting out your bad lifestyle or the wipes you'll find in the supermarkets. Or the other type which is pretty much acne, it's likely wipes will have a temporary affect on these but you need more powerful creams etc from pharmacies to combat these. I highly doubt my GP would of referred me to a dermatologist who then put me on some pretty lethal drugs to get rid of them if all I needed to do was drink water.

try using normal stuff, but if its a hereditary sorta thing then you should try get stuff from your GP for it.

I had really bad spots, so bad that the doctor was like "ok we can give you this but the side effects are pretty varied and its quite new so be careful, we'll have to keep you under close supervision" & hell were they right, side effects like hairloss, mood swings, and even suicidal thoughts were on the list there. i had to suffer with dryness on my skin, even on my lips which was horrible, my lips would just flake off skin... :( but i had to have a liver blood test to see if i could take it.

it was called roaccutane, and hell its effective, i mean i doubt your GP will put you on it straight away but i had to go to a dermatologist to get that from the nearest hospital. i had that about 3-4 years ago, and i rarely ever get spots now. like i only wash my face when in the shower and i get one or two every month, if that. its awesome.

At what point does the OP state he's been on a 'lethal drug' to get rid of spots?

Frankly your attitude sucks, you come on here claiming all you need to do is drink water and "dont eat rubbish" to get rid of spots you clearly know absolutely nothing on the subject.
