All I can say is wow, such a great film. I loved it :) The joker has got to be one of the greatest villains/greatest comic book villain of all time. The bank robbery at the start I had no clue what was going on there, it worked out great how he double crossed them all!
What's everyones opinions on this film? I'm going to watch it again soon :D

it is a pretty great movie imo. its still pretty absurd and has some gaping plot holes (see spoiler) but all in all it does the best job of any batman movie of balancing realism with a far-fetched vigilante storyline.
the part that always irks me is when the jokers' cronies burn all the money at the end. what purpose do they have to do that?? the only reason they started following the joker in the first place was for the money, so by burning it that means they risked their lives or doing extreme jail time for absolutely nothing. it really makes absolutely no sense.
I loved it, one of my favourite films of all time. Joker was played extremely well and just the story and just...all of it i really loved.

Joker probably played mind tricks on them, like he did on harley quinn or w/e their name is.
Good movie, drags at points imo. When I first saw it I was like "oh its the end" at like 3 points :P
Also shame that geezer who done the joker died.
Absurdly overrated, but I bloody loved it. One of the best Batman films, I rank them like this (including animated features).
8. Batman and Robin
7. Batman Forever
6. Batman Begins
5. Batman Returns
4. Batman Mask of the Phantasm
3. Batman Subzero
2. The Dark Knight
1. Batman

Fantastic film, but still grossly overrated in the grand scheme of cinema. Also, Heath Ledger undoubtedly overacted in SOME of his scenes.

You could argue that when the joker said he only burned "his share" he meant himself alone, and we can assume he paid his henchmen. Still I don't really buy that myself.
I like to think that the majority of his cronies were all like the one who Harvey Dent caught trying to shoot the police commisioner, schizophrenics and the like, who were slightly off.
Also, Heath Ledger undoubtedly overacted in SOME of his scenes.
Maybe so but it's difficult to critisise him for that while he acted along side Christian Bale with that Batman voice. :P

Yes, Bale's voice is horrendous.
