50,000 Members

Hey, was just wondering. When we get 50,000 members which is very soon, are you going to do a few competitions and give a prize to member who signs up? We're 3170 members off, not long really!

HxF has had 73,571 members register at the time of this post. So when the counter hits 50,000, it won't be the 50,000th member. It only says that due to inactive accounts being cleaned out every year,

Like I said, its cleared out every year. Its not 50,000 active members either, its 50,000 who (well up to the time the accounts were cleared out) had posts and had activated their account.

Quick clear them out, then when we got 50k, it'll be all active! >;]

Yeah what Saurav said really, it won't be right because it is on a yearly basis if that, it was at around 70k registered I think, but were cleared out.

Yeah. This happened not that long ago but it wasn't the true 50,000th person, in all means we would love to do something for it although it will not be accurate. :(

I believe banned users also get removed from the forum user count...or maybe I'm on crack.

Though the two aren't necessarily mutually exclusive.

Banned users (as long as they have posts) aren't deleted as far I remember. My secondary account was banned in 2006, yet it still exists.
