ok hiya

i do quite a bit of web design and stuffz because yeah, i can.

i fnd it really difficult to get the ball running, it's so frustrating.

when the balls running, i'm really happy n stuff, i done a layout a few weeks back for a company, they gave me no guidance, i got frustrated but then i done it, and as i started, i loved it. it' just not the same for my own stuff

for four days now i've been trying to do my portfolio layout, which is difficult because it needs to incorporate web design, graphic design and photography all at the same time.

it's not as easy as it sounds, graphic and web design is very, techy, whereas photography is elegant, so the pages always clash.

where could I start? it's so frustrating, i have about 12 different psds laying around where i've started a portfolio layout then after, i've hated it.

I think a one page portfolio might be a good starting point, you can see here how the background changes to contrast different aspects of what they offer- something you could do with the different services you offer: http://crushlovely.com/

This is just a basic example inspired by Crush + Lovely:
