I don't suppose any one on this forum has been on alton towers newest ride THI3TEEN?

I went on it 2 weeks ago when i was on holiday in england and i thought it was alright but the indoor part is really good.

What is your opinion if you have been on it?

I was really disappointed, the inside bit was original but wasn't exactly that great. It's good the first time you go on it, the rest...meh.

The GMTV and ITV videos ruined the ride for me, I watched them before I went and they ruin the surprise. I'm still amazed Alton Towers allowed them to show the surprise bit which makes the whole ride. I strongly suggest people don't watch the YouTube Vids on it other than the official trailer unless you want it ruining. It's not like when they show films on GMTV they ruin the ending for you, why do it with rollercoasters.

While the whole surprise was ruined for me I thought it was okay, the psychological build-up is very poor and the rest is all quite average once you know the surprise. Nemesis, Air, Rita and Oblivion are still better rides xD

I'm going to Alton Towers later this year! Even though I live less than 1/2 hour from Thorpe Park.

Alton Towers is more varied. I prefer it by far!

The whole point of the ride is to thrill because you dont know whats coming & its all unexpected, but I ruined it for myself by watching youtube videos.

But I sppose it was alright, my friend bought the photo of me and her on it, god I looked like god knows what.

I waited an hour and a half in single rider and it was ****. I didn't watch any video for it and I thought it was complete garbage.

I watched a video if it before I went not long ago, waited something like 45 minutes+ to go on the ride but all the rides had big queues. It was pretty good I guess although given the choice between 13 and the old Corkscrew that was removed to make way for 13, i'd choose Corkscrew.

Hmm i think 13 is better then the corkscrew.

I thought it was rubbish, I was really disappointed! It's nothing exciting and you don't even drop that far down
