Notifications?

I was wondering, what people thought of the idea of getting a notification everytime someone replies to your thread because sometimes you forget what threads you've created & sometimes when your waiting for a reply and going back to check if anyone has replied, you should get a notification.

I think you should exclude notifications in the Spam forum because people just post random anything there :P

So what do you think?

I suggested quote notifications before, and everyone liked it, but oli said we'd be getting that in a week or 2. Which is pretty much similar to this,.

Oh, well I thought like get a notification at the top where it says "Notifications" where are your PMs and that are, I suppose that would make more sense.

you can use subscriptions, which is basically the same. just subscribe to the threads you want, or change it in your options to subscribe to all. then click user CP and theyre there when someone replies

I said this ages ago too. I said something like facebook notifications, but they get rather annoying when you get hundreds of them (When someone decides to have a convo on a picture you have been tagged in lol, not nice when you have notification texts on your phone)

Anyway, you can just subscribe
