Everybody is saying Finch is back and apparently his a hacker? Anybody heard the same or been hacked by Finch?

He was a pretty big hacker back in the day. I don't think he's back, I'm pretty sure after he hacked a bunch of mod accounts he went to court and stuff lol. The consoles have been messed up today though.

Yeh probably, but loads of people said they have been hacked by him but saying that how can they be sure that he hacked them? I can't say 'the actual username' as it is against the rules to accuse somebody of hacking. I never heard of him till now! Also, people said that he is out of prison though.

Yeah same, My console is flooding with it. But then someone said he is in jail for hacking habbo :S It seems pretty stupid to me.

Its just be randomly made. People have either jumped on the band wagon and said " I am the hacker, your next hahaha" or become a coward and fear for their account that they will definatly be hacked next.

Finch is the greatest Habbo hacker of all time.

He hacked Habbo US and Habbo CA quite a few times, the US repeatedly. Hacked Habbo staff and moderators, banned most of the famous people, stole from the rich ahah, gave a lot of eXperts gold bars and super rares (which subsequently they were permanently banned since they spent them), deleted staff accounts, and generally terrorized the staffers and wrought havoc upon the hotels.

He was on a first name basis with the staffers aha. He ended up forcing the hotels closed for emergency maintenance and stuff, took three days to get back up.

Good times, good times. Inari took care of him. He never had jail time, though. He was still a teen then; but him and Sulake reached an agreement I guess, so that the authorities wouldn't be called, dunno. He owned **********

I remember when all this happened. There has always been rumours of both him and sonicmouse coming back. Finch is probs the most successful and well known Habbo 'Hacker' and sonicmouse is probs the best known 'Scripter'.

Doubt he's back though, there are always rumours.

Even if you look for them the chance is like 1/99999 x] so I pretended I could script them into the hotel and everyone believed me lol :D ended up trading each of them for like 30hc+ o.O

More like 3 years ago i think. I can remeber him getting into housekeeping on Habbo USA and getting onto staff accounts and stuff, picking up rich casino owners stuff and giving out free gold bars, then people got banned if they used them.

Well, thankfully, my account has little value so I wouldn't be at risk anyway. Still, there are many rumours that are always floating around. As a consequence, we are all alert and extra-careful. I doubt this is true, but who knows? Finch himself only, I guess.

Actually, someone has been arrested for hacking 4,000 euros (or something like that) worth of virtual furniture. It is big to go to court. As Special said, it's theft. Virtual furniture is paid with real money.

Finch is NOT back, even IF he was, it wouldn't matter... he's no where near the BEST hacker in the world... he's not even the best hacker that's been on Habbo.

Before Finch you were all scared of SonicMouse (Andy) another hacker that, although pretty good at their art, just got a lucky break!...

I mean, you'd think you'd all be scared of Tex (Max) if ANYONE... he hacked more moderators, more of the richest-users and got into the housekeeping more than any other person, ever... and he did it in 2005 when Habbo was already pretty much the biggest MMOCC! But no, you all seem to have forgotten him... and James (From [MSG//], which stands for Miscellaneous Syntax Groupz... or something like that).

It's odd which people you decide to be scared of... and it's amazing the stories that get made up by people! Seriously, all Finch/SonicMouse/Tex/James/Justin/etc did was hack into the Habbo Housekeeping... which allows you access to any account's details (Password, Past passwords, Username, Other usernames, Email, DOB, IP, Past IPs, Location, Login-logs, OS-logs, etc) which, obviously, can be used to hack any user within the hotel (Apart from Sulake Staff and other Hotel Admins which are removed from the list).

But yeah... if I managed to get a:
- Moderator's login Username/Password
- A Release55 Certificate (.crt file)
- A Certificate password (Changes for each MOD/ADMIN)
I could then do exactly same as the "Super" hackers... to be honest, if I ever get access I have a plan in which to do more damage than anyone else has done... but I'll keep that a secret for now! =]

So yeah... don't be scared of Finch or any of the other hackers, you're only in trouble for the normal things:
- If you have an easy password (This could be bruted/guessed),
- If you tell people your linking email (This can then be reverted),
- If you click links on websites (This could allow for various phishing-type scams like "clickjacking" etc),
- If you download files from websites (This could allow for various malware attacks: Keyloggers, Rats, etc),
- If a hacker is in the Housekeeping or on a MOD account and you are super-rich/super-famous or have an awesome name like "Habbo", "Hobba", "Moderator" etc...

I didn't read through the whole thread but back in the day he was a "respecter hacker". He also used to run a forum called ***** which was basically a "hacking"/scripting/warez/whatever forum. ***** members regularly hacked several websites and accounts (not just Habbo, but mostly Habbo).

Sounds accurate. I don't remember how he did it but when he was gone from ***** (for whatever reason, apparently everyone here thinks he went to jail for hacking Habbo accounts but I doubt it), the forum members managed to get ahold of several usernames and possible passwords for Sulake's Intranet login(actually I think I was the one who found the usernames but I don't remember). The only thing we needed was a digital certificate which was impossible to get without access to a computer that had one installed.
