Some news about the latest update and what it means for Habbo.com to be the new Pilot site!
We have been working hard this summer, doing a lot of fixes "under the hood" so that Habbo can run smoother than ever before, and these fixes are now live in Habbo.com.
Some of you have been asking why, after an update, can the Hotel be a bit bumpy and slow? That's because Habbo.com is the new Pilot site for Habbo.
Being the Pilot site means that we get to launch and test out new, cool features (and occasionally Furni, yay!) first, to make sure they work well before they are released to the rest of the Habbo world.
However, being first doesn't come without hick-ups, though, so from time to time we might experience some some turbulence while we iron out the kinks...
This is why YOUR input is invaluable to us, so please check out the Pilots Of The Revolution group page (http://www.habbo.com/groups/181494/id) and let us know what you think of the new updates as they happen and report any new bugs or glitches you've found.
Just popped up now. I guess it's good that they are working on improvements.

Yeh, sounds great but the bad thing is that there will be loads of maintenance breaks but atleast they are improving :)

No more than we ever had on UK.
Remember Habbo UK always used to be the pilot site.
I thought .com was the pilot hotel after merge anyway!?
I figured it would turn into the pilot site, pretty cool.

No Habbo.fi was the original pilot being the first, god knows why they changed it to us. Maybe we had the right amount of users? I do not know.
Anyway I kinda expected this considering the UK was pilot so yeah.

That's what I am saying, before the merge UK was already the pilot.
So UK users have nothing to worry about

We were the pilot hotel before, I remember Ione & Dionysus created the group "Pilots of the Revolution" or something..

To be honest they ask for our input and when we say something was rubbish they keep it and ignore us. Nothing will come of it

I remember it got changed to .co.uk a couple of years ago.

I unfortunately have to agree. In my opinion, they are just covering their asses. They say they are working behind the scenes so the hotel runs quicker and more smoothly... what did we have over the last few days? We had massive lag which kicked everyone on the hotel out of their room. This was after all the maintenance breaks.
About getting new features before everyone else, does it matter? In the end, it will just bring more problems that we have at the moment. They need to fix the current issues they have before testing and introducing new features.
Edit: UK used to get all the updates first and it didn't change anything, just a few extra people coming on to try it from other international hotels.
loads of glitchies and stuff it's quite annoying

Looking forward to it, shame about the negatives though because this lag and maintenance is annoying.
That means Habbo.com will get the trigger feature first :)

What? I don't -rep because of that. Go and ask Oli if "Intel -repped me saying "yes it was". I know the answer.
And hate to break it to you, but habbo.co.uk was the pilot habbo website. Hence why we always got updates first.
Habbo.com is the pilot site now, but .co.uk WAS NOT the pilot site before merge
.fi was..

Habbo.co.uk was the pilot site before .com. Ione and Dionysus ran the original Pilots of the revolution group on the UK site.

http://www.habboxforum.com/showthread.php?t=417803&p=4104334#post4104334 - sadly since the merge the link to habbo.co.uk no longer works. But still people talking about it.

Ok fight over, don't even bother continuing.
.co.uk was definitely the pilot site prior to the merge.

Technically, it's always been the pilot site (since the merge), as UK was the pilot site before the merge? :S
