IT CROSSED THE LINE. of course they should have given it.

I'll take that.

Lucky to come away with a point, should of been more than 1 down at half time. You can say that we probably should of had a free-kick in the build-up to Everton's goal (sound familiar?) but in the end I think it was a fair result. We were much better than them in the second half.

Sexy finish from SEB aswell, good to see him get a confidence boosting goal.

Stoke away is one of the games I dread most all season as they are the sort of games we lose. They did well to bully Gomes and unsettle him during the game but I can only be happy we got the luck that allowed Bale to score his first goal and Stoke's goal to be disallowed.

Wasn't expecting much when I heard that Crouch was playing alone but BaLennon saved the day, thankfully.

IT CROSSED THE LINE. of course they should have given it.

It was so close you can't even tell with replays if it was a goal. If the ref can't DEFINITIVELY say it's a goal he cannot award it. Simple.

Ref went to blow the whistle then got scared.

Bales 2nd goal was brilliant ~ How the heck could the ref not see that it WAS over the line?

just less than 20 mins now till M'Boro v Sheff U ...

Anyone suggest any bets for Fulham-Man ?

Arron
22-08-2010, 01:19 PM
in all fairness the referee was a matter of yards away from the incident with a clear view. i can't see how he can not see the ball cross the line.

JackBuddy
22-08-2010, 01:48 PM
Gomes was fouled in the build up anyway. They did everything they could to push him/get in his way throughout the whole game.

embarrassing and disgraceful performance from villa today :(
carew looks dis-interested, and playing ireland in the center with just petrov is a big nono, especially when he was playing as a defensive mid, wtf?!
hopefully this is just a blip, otherwise this is going to be one long season

Bench, and I hope he stays there.
If Carew carries on like this, I hope he gets dropped to the bench aswell, but he will anyway when Gabby returns from injury.
We need a manager ASAP

Wat the heck happened to Villa today :O ~ i was shocked to see the result.

Thought Man Utd were unlucky today ~ Giggs should have taken the penalty to make it 3-1 rather than Nani.

I'm not happy though with what happened with us at the Riverside... Speed out :S

Own goal, lucky penalty and avoided conceding a couple of penalties which should have been- far from unlucky.

I'd prefer Heskey over Carew anyday! :)

United got a fair result in the end tbh, Ful of ham totally deserved the point. I hate Portuguese taking penalties for United, they're talentless when stepping up. I say we stick with Giggs tbh.

Carew on his day is unplayable, on par with Van Persie, Berbetov, Tevez on their day, problem is we rarely see those days lol :(

£80m Ronaldo is talentless, yes.

Arron

I hate the way Ronaldo and Nani step up for penalties. 3 step penalties normally fail, as seen in the Champions League Final 08 and yesterday at Fulham.
