View Full Version : Do you believe in psychics?
^_^ Title.
I don't lol, I just find it hard to believe people can predict what hasn't happened already...

I don't, I think they just randomly make up rubbish about your life!
totally thought the title said Physics at first >.<
and hmm not really, well at least not those kinds that say "one of your deceased relatives wants to talk to you" and then spin some crap. but I do believe that there a very select few who have some sorta connection with some dead people, but now I sound crazy :(

OMG SAME LOL
I actually agree with you Rosie, most of it is a load of garbage imo but I think there are a few which do have a small connection.

I know you may think this is bull, but in Russia theres a programme about people with an extra-sense & it gives them a task, say find the coordinates of a certain plane crash & they would find it, and predict who would stay alive and who died, the person who got the closest, won.
People come onto the T.V show to find out how their family members die, what happened and everyone who has been on was shocked because everything was said dead on spot as it were.
So yes, I do.

Not sure about psychics, but I definitely believe in premonitions, which sorta are the same thing, only you don't make premonitions happen.

hahahaha i did too, i was like, well yeah im pretty sure gravity has a pretty strong case that it exists.
no i dont. if i could predict the future, wouldnt i be buying winning lottery tickets? why would i need a job telling people their futures for meager pay?

lol Same here. I really wanted to see someone debunk physics :(
I believe that they are some psychics out there that truly believe they have a gift. Then again a lot of them are probably just scam artist looking to make a couple bucks either off people's gullibility, their desperation, or their sense of fun. I don't put much weight in it, but who knows...

Yes I do. The reason being....
A while ago my and my friend went on massive bike rides everyday for about a week. At the end of it we realised we were over doing it because we both had really sore backs and knees. I never mentioned anything to my mum though. Anyway when she went to a physic night at our local pub she came home saying the physic said some true things and other stuff that was a load of rubbish. When she was going through all the stuff that meant nothing the physic had said "Tell whoever has sore knees not to worry because they are ok" or something along those lines. It was just weird because at the time my knees were REALY sore. Might be a coincidence but idk.

I just think it's a grey area. I've had personal experiences of de ja vu and stuff. But doesn't everyone LOL

yeah simply because a family member had a psychic around and they knew everything... like, the name of my dead grandads childhood friend (from like 1900s or something crazy)

They can't ''make up rubbish about your life'' lol. Surely if they did then you would wonder why you wasn't present at such events. :P

Lmao same. That's why I haven't looked at this thread because I thought it'd be a silly discussion. xD

Definitely, if you don't believe it you just haven't been to a good one, or one that can tell you. My mum's friend tells her stuff she wouldn't otherwise know if she didn't have 'the gift'.

Yes, I've always been interested in things like that. I recently watched Psychic Sally: On The Road, i don't know if any of you have heard about it, but it's basically a woman who claims to be psychic and she tours the UK doing shows. In the shows, she claims to speak to spirits, which are family members or friends of the audience. She passes on messages from them to the audience. Some of the things she says are too personal to just be "made up" and the audience is always shocked by that. Why would a TV company give her a reality show, if all she is doing is making it up?

I think there are some people with abilities that appear very much to be out of this world, I would say I do believe in them rather than disbelieve.

Well there's deja vu really, and sometimes either in your dreams or when you're day-dreaming you either visionize or see something which you will later re-live in the future, but you can't remember until it actually happens.
So no.

Some of them, like the ones that go on crime scenes and they don't know anything and are giving all this information about it. I don't know if anyone has ever seen the show Psychic Kids? It's about all these kids that can see ghosts and stuff. Pretty cool :D I believe that stuff.

I do believe in psychics, but I don't take anything they say to heart.. if that makes sense.
When I went to Thailand, our tour organizer was psychic. She also believed in her abilities so much that her life was based around them, which I found silly but fascinating. She wouldn't let us pay her for a palm reading, but rather she gave free readings to anyone who requested one (she believed it would cause her misfortune blah blah blah). Anyways, she started off by reading into my personality and she got me point-plank, she even read into my past so it was very convincing. She told me some things to watch out for in the future, which I will since I'm a believer, but none of what she says will really impact me in a life-changing manner where I would follow her guidance.
Whether you believe in psychic readings or not.. they are pretty interesting and they can't hurt you!
yes i do believe in physics... o wait
I do believe in them. It's either that or destiny and set paths. There is some crazy stuff they can do and predict.
