Super simple guide to adding an Encoder on SAM Broadcaster.

I'm going to assume you've already installed SAM Broadcaster and have imported all your music, this will be a basic "How to connect to your Shoutcast server" guide.

1. Go to "Desktop B" in SAM and Select the drop down box under Encoders
2. Select New

3. Select the mp3PRO encoder
4. Hit OK

5. Select your quality setting, Medium is usually good
6. Select the Format, the higher the kb/s the better the audio quality, the more bandwidth you're going to consume.
7. Select Auto reconnect and set a nice time in seconds, between 5 and 15 is good.

8. Make sure ShoutCast is selected
9. This is where your SHOUTcast server's URL or IP address goes, if you have more than one URL pointing at your server, you can use any.
10. Put the port you set on the Shoutcast server in here
11. The password you set on the Shoutcast server here
12. Fill these details in to reflect your radio station, you can leave AIM, ICQ and IRC Channel fields as they are if you don't know what these do, hit OK

13. Make sure your new Encoder is selected and press the play button.

You're good to go! Just go back to "Desktop A" and start DJing!
