In my opinion, nowhere near it. I think that the majority of the people's understanding of the point of the game has changed, causing the actual game to make change after change and shift its focus.

Considering I was there at the start when anyone with rights could give/take to/from anyone else (room owners excluded of course) and gates were so far in the future that rotating a mode bar was what would give you access to a new area (where you might be lucky enough to snag a blue_juice from the mode minibar), I'd say that yeah things have changed rather a lot over time. Of course, being so much younger myself back then and the fact that the whole idea of a graphic chatroom was new made it a wholly original adventure, the experience of which can't really be duplicated ever

The introduction of credits which you could buy in the catalogue killed the economy. It was better when Club Sofas were the main desired currency.

Back in 2004 when i first started i found that more things were happening ~ more events & games were around.
Now in 2010 im finding it good that we have merged into 1 big hotel but still i find it boring as there are less things to do.
Another good point now is that they are bringing some decent furni into the hotel but after a while they get boring.

so i havent logged in in about 1-2 years and the last time i logged in it was just for fun and today i find out there are *REMOVED* lions now?! yeah, its pretty sad habbo doesnt realize how potentially good the first versions of it were, that probably would have grabbed them more cash in the long run since it made it really fun for people and the fun lasted a long time. now theyre all about giving anything to people for their money cause theyre able to make anything and just sell it to the public, but soon enough those people will grow bored of it because all it is is about money and now the fun is taken out of it...

When I first started Habbo I really enjoyed it, I thought I was rich with a HC TV. Eventually I came to Habbox and got to be an original beta tester. I grew on BETA and I really enjoyed it. I was quite rich at the time then lost it all. I then won a dino worth 2 thrones 38 at the time off Ludus. However, after a while Habbo began getting more laggy, the prices were going wrong and the glow died down. I onlu play Habbo occasionaly now but I am taking part in HxSS, I got hacked so I'm not what you call rich now. But overall my opinion of Habbo has just decreased with time, I don't know whether it's because I'm older, or because the changes they make are barbaric.

yeah when i first played habbo i thought it was really fun because ive never experienced a game like it before..same as cokestudios..i wonder why they closed that too because surely that potentially would have wiped out habbo sooner or later with a few updates here and then since it wasnt largely based on money but largely based for the fun, they had specific "open" hours!

Habbo for me, was awesome 05-08. Every update around that time just added more and more to the game. But as soon as they began to mess about with the console it went downhill for me. That's when I decided to quit.

About 1 year after I started playing, it started to get boring, whether because of the updates or just because I'd been on it for ages. The merge hasn't made a difference to me, but the Beta made it a lot worse, just because loads of things changed after so long. It's hard to find a good Roleplaying room (vampires and werewolves) now, I used to roleplay a lot! I think the quality of rooms has gone down.

to be honest i preferred it when habbo uk was just on its own; I partially find that there is more lag and moderators hardly ever reply to help requests it is usually an automated message tell you the the problem has been resolved when clearly it hasn't
