I'm not talking about paedos and everything btw, I'm talking about them like... 17 year old girls that go out with the 80 year olds, or the other way round and everything...

Personally, I don't because if they were to have a baby, then a few years later the chances are they wouldn't have a Dad anymore -.-

Yeah I agree with age differences like a few years too, up until about 10 years I guess, but things like 17 eyar olds with 70 year olds are just wrong lol

I've never heard of someone who is 17 going out with people that age :S
I've heard on like Jerry Springer people who are 17 going out with like 40/50 year olds so it's like going out with your parent

That about right for that ages but when your about 40 odd the age gap changes to about 10 years

Yeah, but you can sorta understand her? If shes come from a poor backround all her life, met this rich old fart, hes into her so they get together. Even if she doesnt love him, she will be happy all her life & when he dies, most if not all the money, will go to her and then shes free to do what she wants and mostly, in these cases, tey dont have babies.

But if people really do love eachother, then why not? (I personally wouldn't, but yeh)

Well I think your example is a bit extreme tbh but as long as they are of age it's not really anybodys business but their own. I don't think I would personally but if they make each other happy then that's fine.

depends on the ages of both people, I'd say about 8 years for the gap. Assuming both people were 18+

I think that example is a bit extreme. Usually if you find someone really young going out with someone really elderly then they could be in it for the money (inheritance). Otherwise I think up to about a 10 year gap is normal (once over 18 though, doubt you'll find many 16 year olds dating 26 year olds). I personally wouldn't date anyone over 2 years older than me or 2 years younger, but that will probably change over time.

tbh it's their lives, not mine :) if they want to do that, go for it. they have to deal with the consequences.
personally i think that when i'm 18 i'll date anyone under 10 years older than me, obviously not younger because well dating an 8 year old at 18 is just vile LOL.
anyone who knows me well probably knows that i believe age is just a number so my opinion kinda makes sense in a way (A)

like to be fair, i dated an 18 and a half year old at 13 (yes i'm a **** i know) and he was less mature than me and looked about 15 :S so you can't really go by age imo it depends how the person acts

I don't agree with massive age differences I was reading a magazine the other day (probably that's life, take a break, chat or full house, can't remember) and I saw someone who was about 20 years old and the man was 70 and they had just had a child together. It's stupid as the dad might not be there for that long and then you may not be able to cope. Also if the dad is a bit ill and the woman gets pre natal depression then your a bit screwed!

However, I do agree with like 5 years apart as my parents are as it's not really a problem!

Theres lots of debate over the morality of elderly parents. Imagine if you were born when your parents were both over 65, the chance of them living to be at your wedding would be more than a hundred times less likely than if you were born when they were both under 50. (lets say marrige age in this case is 30). Infact it would be unlikely for them to live until your 20th birthday (they'd be 85 or more.)

Artificial Insemination I think it's called. Also theres the possibility of adoption. And I have seen stories in the news about a 68 year old woman giving birth.

well the age range max for me changes at different ages
for example a 12 year old with a 14 year old would be too big tbh
when its from around 18 id say a max of 5 years.

Depends at what age and how much age gap tbh. for instance, my aunt is going out with someone like 30 years older, i think its fine. sure they have limits on their relationship (eg. kids), but if they're happy together then who am i to judge?

i disagree 90% of the time with like 50 year differences, but if they are truly in love then that's something that cannot be helped
