Upcoming changes to how you log into Habbo.com
Starting tomorrow you will have to log into Habbo using your email address and password. This change has been done to improve the security of your Habbo account.
If you are already logging into Habbo using your email address then you have no need to worry. If however you are still using your Habbo username to log in then make sure that your email is verified, and tomorrow you will be asked to use your verified email address and your password.

Yeh I've been logging in using Google / Facebook for a bit too - I thought they stopped allowing people loggin in by just using their user name & password ?

Most peoples emails are msn, loads of people offer their msn's out on habbo

The idea is that everyone knows your username, no one (in theory) should know your email. If you have a secure, separate email for Habbo that no one knows about, it's a lot safer than anything else.

so i'm basically screwed seeing as i cannot login. :l
keeps saying i'm linked to a facebook account, but as soon as those badges were deleted i dis-activated the link, and deleted the facebook account.. yet it still tells me to login through facebook :s

also, the e-mail i have SUPERchips vertified too, when i login using that it goes to the habbo id linked to that e-mail, which is Corne1ius, not SUPERchips.

so i have no way to login to SUPERchips... at all :l

This is so annoying. It's also the first time I've logged in using email since the ID was introduced :P typing in Mathew was so much easier.. :)

Connect through facebook, twitter, google etc & then you will just have to press log in with that ... you log on within like 2 seconds.

Well, I guess this update for me is just going to make my habbo account safer, since habbo ID is all I use. Sorry for the people who are having problems with it.

Omg I just had an uber stress moment because non of my emails would let me get onto my main account i was like **** But then i realised i had it linked to facebook so if i didnt do that then i would of lost it :@ Why did they have to change it !

Nooo! I can't login, because I was linked to facebook, removed the connection BEFORE the manual actually was there and now it stays linked to facebook forever somehow... :(
I emailed it to the Helping Agency of Habbo already, but I think I won't get a reply this month...

I Still log in using my user name, and password.. Always have.. I don't have a habbo ID it says Your habbo ID is unknown

When I login with my email it gives me different Habbo accounts than if I click other ways to sign in and click GMail.

Hmm. I wish I made a Habbo ID with my main account.

I think I know why now
I bet it's because alot of habbos probably still havn't merged through for whatever reason and instead of them getting emails saying "i cant log in" they can log in because they'll remember their email, not somehow know there is a symbol at the end of their name so it solves the situation and the lazy player support can stay lazy.

They are doing it so people can't log into two accounts at the same time which are located on the same ID

I've been using this email ID thing for ages. I thought everyone had to use it already :P Suppose it makes everything a bit safer.

Yeah, it does make things safer as we aren't really meant to let other Habbo users know our e-mails so it would be harder to access anyone other accounts.

However, one thing that is a problem, well was for me, when I transfered accounts the Habbo ID doesn't let you log in twice as it logs into the same character you were previously logged into so it is virtually impossible to transfer furni to accounts on the same ID which was annoying for me!

I've blocked Habbo's email thing on my old email by accident ages ago.. I wonder if you could unblock it.. or get them to send messages to you again..
