If you're not would you? I don't think I would because I am the youngest and both of my brothers help me with school work. I wish I had a sister instead of a brother though because I can't really go town with my brother :rolleyes: I always fight with my brothers and it would be pretty boring if I was an only child.

pros:
lots of treats and crap cos parents dont have to "split" their cash in a sense
family could be better off

cons:
could get bored
less child benefits (lol)
no benefits of having siblings (getting help, babysit when you were younger if you're the youngest)

but yeah 1/3 and its cool that way. The fact that theyre both older and adults mean i get like more crap now because my brothers dont mooch as they have jobs xD

I suppose if you grow up with siblings then you don't know any different, but from what people say about their brothers / sisters on here and at school, I don't think I'd be able to cope :P

I have an older sister and brother, which is cool because I always go shopping with my sister and she offers to buy me stuff, and I can always go to her if I don't know how to do something. We stay up till like 6am playing computer games which is a plus as well :P
I guess having an older brother is cool, we don't really spend much time together...

technically, i'm not, but in a way i am.
i lived with my brother til i was liiike 12/13 then we moved away and he stayed there, so the past 5 years i've been an 'only child' in the house and seeing him twice a year.
i prefer being the only one mainly because he isnt around to annoy me but then when we are back together it's nice so a mixture of both really

I have one older step sister who is 24, then my brother who is 11 then my sister who is 3. I don't really get along with my step sister, because of the age difference and she was brought up as the only child, so maybe that's why she always wants things her way and is not very grateful. I love having my brother and sister, we always have fun together without them I would be pretty lonely and very spoilt. I would say I am their role model growing up and it feels good to know they look up to me.

Im an only child. it rawks, from what all my mates say im lucky. one mate is moving from his mums to his dads because his younger brother and mum harrass him that much e.g. getting mardy 24/7 for nothing. so its all gooood!

I hated having an older brother and being the youngest when I was younger as he'd get to all this stuff that I wasn't allowed to do (he's 4 years older than me). We'd just bully eachother and argue all the time about the most stupid things but tbh, that's what kids do.

Now, I'd be stuck without my brother so I'd never wish to be an only child.

Would be far more boring if I didn't have my older sisters. When they were younger they just argued constantly and to a nosy child like myself it was all the family gossip you could hope for!

These days one spends most of her time at the boyfriends or working, the others moved out so I am pretty much alone. I don't think it would have made much difference to me whichever way the coin would have flipped.
