Did anybody else watch this or is watching it? I've just finished watching it and have to say it's the best show i've ever seen and i can't wait for series 2.
It's basically a story about a guy who is betrayed by the romans, and therefore goes against them, only to be taken captive along with his wife. He is made to fight as a gladiator in the arena and goes on a quest to see his wife again.
It's incredibly gory and contains alot of nudity, so strictly 18+ ;) but it has to be to get a good representation of roman culture.
I'm now looking for a new show to watch. I'm thinking ' Persons Unknown'
