and a warm ankle is a sprained ankle? Because I sorta need to know.
Either can be indicative of a sprain or a break but that is a highly primitive form of diagnoses and shouldn't be taken as an appropriate way of deciding the nature of your injury. If you suspect a bone is broken a trip to A&E is in order.

I think you'd be pretty sure if your ankle was broken. It'd swell up loads and you'd be in a lot of pain. :P
Could be a sprain? :)

Not really, lad I know had broken his ankle for two weeks before he found out. Anyway, I'll see how it is tomorrow.
Well when I sprained my ankle it was really hot, not warm so I wasn't sure if it was broken but when I eventually went to A&E they told me it was just sprained so hmmm, not sure about that rule.

Not necessarily (forgot how to spell that). My nanna fell off the bottom step of my stairs in my house, well parents house. And we didn't think no more of it. About a month later we found that it was broken, (it really wasn't our fault, she's 82, her bones would break easily). Point is you may not know when it is sprained or broken. But if you are worried about it, and think it may be broken tell your parents, and see the doctor.!
Never heard of hot, and warm ankles btw.
