I don't care for all you haters, I don't care if you think Duke is past his sell-by-date.

Gearbox Studios (Borderlands) are making it, it is Duke Nukem Forever, being written by some of the greatest writers in the industry and some of the best designers in the world.

I have bets with friends that whatever year DNF would release in, it would default to GOTY of that year. No matter what, no matter if The Last Guardian or Episode Three came out in the same year.

I agree and disagree.

I think some people will expect the ammount of time should result in an amazing game and it might dissapoint then.

While as some who gave up on it might have set there expectations too low and might end up being supprised.

What i never understood is that apparently the reason it took so long is they kept having to redo it because the game engine kept getting out of date - and they wanted it to be the latest and bla.

Yet when games like call of duty modern walfare 2, crysis etc have came out, they've came out i gather around the time they predicted if not a little later - i've never heard of them having to redo the games loads of times.

I'm not expecting an amazing game. The Duke Nukem games have always been mediocre, good at best. I just play them because it's Duke Nukem.
