Habbox in need of credits?

It will help to fund future events, competitions, etc. I wouldn't say they're desperately in need of credits though.

The main reason wasn't to actually get credits, it's just a nice advantage. The room has already shown some popularity (rating is high but not very high) and by offering to sell rights to you guys we can get you involved in the popularity of the room and help get Habbox more well known.

I suppose the extra credits can't harm Habbox. To put things bluntly, people like winning credits in big events which are run and they don't have an unlimited supply to award as prizes. Although I'm sure if they're in a desperate need and came out and asked directly, people would donate anyway :P:P

Why donate directly when you can get something in return. If you want to donate when you buy the rights, you could pay 50C if you wanted and i'd give that to Roxy and make sure she knew you'd donated more.

I think selling rights was a very good idea. It gives rightholders incentive to use Habbox trade rooms.

I wouldn't say we are in need or desperate for credits. But we do not have an unlimited supply or credits or prizes at all, so we thought we would give you something in return in our Habbox rooms. Then these help us out if we need them to give them away as prizes or use them in events/competitions and so on.

Plus, I already bought main room rights in that room when it started because I supported Habbox.

We are always of course, welcoming of donations and we are eternally grateful to all those who donate. What we need to do is start a proper recognition system on the site for donators and this is coming with V6.

The point of this however is two fold - first, get some extra credits because even if we had a million, every little helps! We're not desperate and we're not in dire circumstances because we would then make a direct appeal and I am sure the response would be wonderful. Secondly, the point is to give people reason and incentive to use the room regularly (as VIP) and this will help increase the room's popularity. If the room were to gain a fraction of Paolo's trade city room, we would see a considerable raise in Habbox's profile on Habbo Hotel.

Of course luke, but people won't think of donating more if it just says donate 10c. I have often donated to hx, mind you nothing compared to james past donations!

I'll speak to Roxy about the Donation idea, think it seems like a good idea.

So we state that a minimum donation of 10C must be given to receive rights but more is appreciated.

Although i don't want to make this look like 'We need your donations' as this isn't the main reason why i suggested this idea. The reason why i suggested this idea was because (as David said) it gives people an incentive to start using the room more while i am away and thus make it more popular.

I do try myself to get the room popular and often when i do (with the help of HxL sometimes) i manage to get the room to 40-50 people for around an hour. This has lead to me gaining a room rating of 1850 all by myself without hardly selling any rights (i sold rights about 3 times). Now by introducing this scheme it gives me a hand in making this room successful and thus helping Habbox gain success.

Perhaps get some official room moderators too - this would help boost the room population.

A "minimum donation" would advertise more that you can give more, whereas "a donation of.." is kind of saying that's what you have to give.

We just want the room popular, i'd give free rights, but then know one would come back as they have no reason to. By paying for rights you feel part of the room and come back for more :) Simples.

Then the credits help Habbox a little.

I bought main room rights and I never visit it unless you're there and filling the room so I just feel like I should help; that's about it.
