Does anyone know when it is. Someone told me it is this Monday providing you've signed your learning agreement at your school/college.

Depends because it can get backlogged in which case you'll get however much you've missed out on. Ima get a backlog because mine wont even be sent off till next Thursday.

Depends on if you have recieved your letter stating you are allowed to receive it. You should then get it the second friday you're back. If they're still processing your application then you'll get backpaid :)

I got the letter saying I'm allowed EMA and I've taken the little slip thing into my 6th form. Just a waiting game now I guess..

same threads every year about this.

you will get your first ema payment AGESS AWAY yet. its about 4 weeks after you start and you get like £120 all together
ema need time for everyone to hand in their forms, get everyone sorted etc and that takes time
so all money will be backtracked and you will get it in 1 big lump

plus you do also realise you get paid for the previous week. So if you get paid one week, it will be the ema for the week previous. So if you are off a week, you will still receive ema that week, but lose it the week after
