Google instant not working?

Is it just me or has google instant search stopped working now? Its enabled in settings and still not working =[

Sorry to take this off topic a little but what is this instant search? When I search it's just normal, like pops up.. nothing different, what is it?

Where it searches as you type, changing the results as you type :D

Google Instant is a new search enhancement that shows results as you type. We are pushing the limits of our technology and infrastructure to help you get better search results, faster. Our key technical insight was that people type slowly, but read quickly, typically taking 300 milliseconds between keystrokes, but only 30 milliseconds (a tenth of the time!) to glance at another part of the page. This means that you can scan a results page while you type.

The most obvious change is that you get to the right content much faster than before because you don’t have to finish typing your full search term, or even press “search.” Another shift is that seeing results as you type helps you formulate a better search term by providing instant feedback. You can now adapt your search on the fly until the results match exactly what you want. In time, we may wonder how search ever worked in any other way.

I didn't know it was out yet. My google never updates very fast anyway it seems, never even saw the balls :(

Don't feel too bad Jamesy. I had to go out of my way to find them. I guess I was never gifted with balls either.

They don't roll it out that quick I'm afraid but was working for me last night! Pretty neat tbh.

I think I'm back onto an old server, the search box is bold again - if I rememeber correctly, instant was normal?

Well what can I say, Google must love me. On instant the Google logo and bar seem to be much larger compared to the one that doesn't have instant.

Oh, I thought you could do it without being signed in, just signed in and it's quite good!
